Candy corn picking goes wrong for Eleanor the sunflower. All Eleanor wanted was candy corn, but now she just wants her eyesight back. L eafy limbs are not ideal for the task of lifting. In this animation, Eleanor struggles to lift and ends up stabbing herself in the eye. Tis' the season for some spooky sunflower shenanigans!
Tiny baby, big attitude All of Baby Inosuke's feisty attitude has been wrapped up into a brief head turn! Baby Inosuke's round, adorable, and overall simple form allows him to express himself dramatically. With a turn of his head, pop of his hips, and bounce of his booty, Baby Inosuke wants you to know he is a big deal.
The Saxton family gets an unwanted guest at their dinner party... When it comes to dinner parties, the Saxton family is simply the greatest around. They are not, however, too great with bugs. This animation captures the shock each of the Saxton family members goes through when confronted with an unwelcomed guest. Their prim and proper ways are quick to go out the window. Everything the Saxton family does is known for being quite extravagant, and their reaction to bugs is no different!
Somewhere in the night sky, Hoku gets a special delivery for his birthday. After originally featuring a sketchy-looking frog, this birthday celebration turned into a party for Hoku the adorable baby star. Hoku's design is very simple, but still expresses his cuteness and love for cupcakes.  Though its appearance at the party was brief, the UFO swung by to drop off a candle it dragged all the way from planet earth!
Snickerdoodle the Clown is the sweetest clown around. Unfortunately, his nose is not so sweet.              In this animation, I wanted to capture the dynamic between Snickerdoodle and his moody nose, who apparently does not like to be squeezed. I wanted my hand to be evident in the style of the animation, so I kept my linework vivacious and loose- much like Snickerdoodle's personality! Though Snickerdoodle's first appearance did not go as planned, he plans to make more appearances in the future.
My name is Brianna Campbell. I am an aspiring animator and motion graphics artist born and raised in Tampa, FL.  All throughout my childhood, I would spend my time drawing cartoons and attempting to animate images via the transitions on Powerpoint. Little did I know, I would be learning animation in college! What I know about animation this far is primarily self-learned and in the realm of 2D frame by frame animation. I am thrilled to be learning from an experienced animator. Through this class, I would love to learn about and become experienced in industry-standard animating programs. I would also love to continue to develop my own artistic style and skill. I look forward to learning, experiencing, and creating more.
